What a stand-in does
Everyday help in and around the house.
Washing and dressing aren’t included, nor are medical tasks; those are for professionals. A stand-in visits the same household on 3 days a week at most.
- Shopping
- Cleaning and tidying
- Garden
- Odd jobs around the house
- Company and walks
- Walking the dog
- Help with phone or computer
- Going along to an appointment
- Cooking
- Other
A stand-in chooses where to help and how far to travel. Customers see their town and the distance; on the map, their location is accurate to about 1 kilometre. Before saying yes to a request, a stand-in sees the street and town, and only gets the house number after a yes.
